Jack and Jennifer share a romantic morning until Abby cries. Jennifer explains her Chicago trip, and they set worries aside. Later at the studio, Jack confronts Jennifer about Carly; she defends her friend, and he storms out. Billie pitches Victor a business deal; he accepts pending legal review. Kate walks in as Billie flirts on his desk, clearly displeased. Mickey warns Carly she may face a lawsuit and needs her own lawyer.
