Jennifer and Austin return from Chicago after visiting Laura for Abby’s medical history. Jennifer is hurt Jack forgot their anniversary, but Jo urges him home. Kate mentions seeing Jennifer in Chicago, prompting Jack to realize the truth. He rushes home with roses and champagne, and he and Jennifer share a romantic evening, reciting their wedding poem. Carrie comforts an insecure Sami, who obsesses over her looks. Carrie says Lucas helped her rethink surgery. Sami fantasizes about a perfect future with Austin. Lucas, unaware of her feelings, pushes Carrie to commit to surgery as part of his scheme to secure a magazine contract and win Kate’s BMW. At Brady’s Pub, Abe and Lexie debate the vigilante Pacifier. Jonah introduces his girlfriend Vanessa, whose father supports the vigilante. Later, Abe and Lexie reconcile in bed, wanting a child and a safer neighborhood.
