Later, Nikki interrupts Bo and Carly’s intimate moment, claiming he’s scared; Carly comforts him while Bo discovers he was only pretending to sleep. John pushes Marlena to take a paternity test, arguing she’ll always wonder if the baby is his. Marlena insists she’ll raise the child as Roman’s but finally agrees. Unseen, Sami overhears everything from the bushes. Roman arrives home just as John leaves. Marlena panics but recovers. Sami nearly reveals what she heard, then hides it by criticizing Nikki. Marlena senses something is off, but Sami claims she’s tired and retreats, shaken by her mother’s secret.
