The Hortons host a work party to prepare the community center for inspection. Bo and Carly move into Kim’s mansion and spend the night making love, Bo joking in a snooty accent. At the party, Lucas brings model Brandee to impress Austin and divert him from Carrie. Carrie withdraws, working alone on smoke detectors. Roman worries she’s avoiding surgery. Lucas joins her outside, and they bond over plants and honest conversation. Tom and Alice choose Wendy and baby Benjamin as the first Horton Center residents. Abe and Lexie discuss a vigilante called “The Pacifier”; Lexie’s nervous behavior and a cut on her arm hint she may be involved. She later defends the vigilante at the station. Sami warns Lucas Brandee won’t help him win Carrie, then recruits the model to caution Carrie about eating disorders. Carrie leaves the party with Lucas, disappointing Austin.
