Alice encourages her, and Carrie dreams of reuniting with Austin once healed. Austin broadcasts at Salem Place while Roman watches. Kim and Jennifer urge Roman to see Austin has changed. An ex‑boxer accuses Austin of ruining his career; Austin refuses to fight, impressing Roman. Austin later tells Roman he needs his support to be with Carrie. Nicholas manipulates a dinner to make Carly miss her date with Bo. Carly arrives with Lawrence, reluctantly staying. Vivian, still faking a coma, steals nurse keys as she plots her next move. Lawrence tells her he and Carly will soon be a family. Victor tries to buy Kate’s newspaper; she refuses but hints he may be involved. Jack fears for his job, but Kate promises not to sell and vows to make the Spectator number one.
