Victor talks with Lucas, then tells Kate he wants to know her better; he’s disappointed she bought The Spectator, assuming she’ll hand it to him. Sami goes on a diet while Lucas teases her about chasing Austin. Roman considers Alice’s advice to reconcile with Austin, though reluctantly. Jack prepares nervously for his Titan meeting; Jo comforts him with memories of Steve. Kate reveals to Victor she’s Jack’s mystery backer, and Victor expects the paper. At the meeting, Victor offers Kate a check to buy The Spectator. Jack and Victor clash as Kate watches the tension build.
