Vivian tries to kill Carly by injecting cleaning fluid into her neck but is interrupted. Later, hearing the board will keep dying patient Mr. Woodrow on life support, she injects his IV instead, planning to frame Carly. Marlena undergoes an amnio. John arrives and accepts being godfather. Marlena confides to Kim that the baby may be John’s—they slept together twice—and she lied about her due date to hide it. Kim warns secrets will hurt Roman, but Marlena vows never to tell. Roman misses the procedure due to a drug bust near Abe and Lexie’s home; a carjacker threatens them before arrest. Traumatized, Lexie refuses to let Wendy stay with them. Roman later arrives, thrilled by Marlena’s ultrasound. Carly spends time with Nicky, and Bo suggests a boat trip. Before leaving, Carly plans to check on Mr. Woodrow, unaware Vivian has already killed him.
