Meanwhile, Lucas confronts his mother Kate about lying regarding his father's identity; Kate finally admits she doesn't know who his biological father is. At the hospital, baby Abigail spikes a dangerous 104-degree fever, terrifying parents Jack and Jennifer. Carly returns from a camping trip to take over Abby's case and discovers her white blood cell count is dangerously low. Lawrence arrives at the hospital with Nikki, antagonizing Bo. In her hospital room, the supposedly paralyzed Vivian secretly recovers her mobility and plans Carly's murder using a syringe. Billie daydreams about Bo at the cosmetics lab while struggling to move on from him. Bo visits Billie late at night, revealing tensions in his relationship with Carly over Lawrence's presence in her and Nikki's life.
