At the station, Jack learns the Spectator’s mystery backer wants a meeting. At the hospital, Alice realizes Kate was the battered woman Tom treated when Lucas was born, and Lucas obtains his birth certificate. Sami pushes Austin to take her to the Spring Fling and recruits Lucas—offering help with his uniform if he helps make Austin jealous. John tells Roman and Marlena he’s stepping back so they can move forward. Roman later apologizes, admitting insecurity about Marlena’s love, then asks John to be godfather. John, guilty over their affair, needs time. Roman mentions a nurse told him the baby will be a Scorpio, raising concerns about her access to Marlena’s records. In the park, John rescues a blonde woman from knife‑wielding muggers.
