Lawrence denies involvement when Carly confronts him. Meanwhile, Billie is trapped in her apartment by Tony, a dangerous Vegas criminal. When Bo visits, Tony threatens to shoot him unless Billie sends him away. She does, but her hidden plea for help—a note and cream jar—falls under a desk, leading Bo to assume Tony is her boyfriend. Bo later tells Jack the truth about Tony. Jack rushes to Billie’s apartment and offers Tony a $75,000 check as a down payment for the Spectator, claiming he can secure more funds. Tony accepts but reveals he still intends to kill them. Jack and Billie stand terrified as Tony contacts his New York associates, while Vern prepares to cash the check and Tony’s threat hangs over them.
