Marlena goes missing after Minnie, a homeless woman, finds her unconscious in the park wearing Marlena’s coat and rings. Roman and John track Minnie down and learn where she found her, discovering blood but no Marlena. Marlena awakens with amnesia, is attacked for her necklace, and Wendy rescues her. Believing Marlena is an abused homeless woman, Wendy buys bus tickets to take her to Chicago, leaving her wrapped in a blanket at the pier. Jennifer and Austin tape a homelessness segment appealing to Wendy. Jack stops the presses to feature Wendy’s story, then brings Jennifer flowers; Carrie watches them kiss, longing for Austin. Austin catches Carrie and confesses his love, kissing her despite her fear. Roman hides Marlena’s disappearance from Sami. John vows to stand by Marlena. Vivian poisons Carly’s custard while Billie retrieves Bo’s bulletproof vest.
