Jennifer tries pulling him away from work, and they enjoy a romantic afternoon at the moviesaccidentally stumbling into an X-rated foreign filmbut Jack's focus shifts when he spots a newspaper. Outside the theater, Jack rages about Victor's plans while Jennifer pleads with him to let it go, offering support regardless of outcome. Jack encounters Kate Roberts and her son Lucas, accepting dinner invitation to the Penthouse Grille. He plans to pump Kate for information about Victor, despite Jennifer's objections. Meanwhile, Billie confuses Bo for her ex Mitch at Casey's Roadhouse. Kate fires a manuscript reader who questioned her decision about Billie's book, angering Lucas. Vivian grows increasingly concerned as Nicholas grows closer to Carly and vows to discredit Carly by framing her for Vivian's murder.
