Kate realizes Billie stole her private journal for the manuscript and vows Billie won’t profit from her trauma. Billie learns she’s inherited a failing cosmetics company and investigates it with Jack. Cash later threatens her outside Jack and Jennifer’s home. Jack promises Jennifer quality time but keeps breaking it for work and Billie, leaving Jennifer hurt. Sami invites Austin to a concert; Jennifer warns him Sami has a crush, and he worries about misleading her. Victor sees John and Marlena together at the pond. Roman later finds John in Marlena’s room and grows suspicious. Marlena tries to confess, but John stops her. Roman and John play an aggressive, jealous game of basketball until Marlena pulls Roman away. Jennifer fantasizes about tangoing with Jack, but practicing with Austin for her show leaves her embarrassed, realizing she’s confusing her feelings.
