Taylor drives Mitch out of town to help him escape, but their car gets a flat tire. A trucker reports seeing "Bo's double" on the highway, and suspended officer Bo sets up his own roadblock to intercept them. Vivian executes her suicide plan, drugging Carly's hot chocolate with her pain medication while pretending to be sympathetic about Carly's bond with her son Nikki. At the resort, Marlena struggles with jealousy watching John and Rebecca together. After hearing them laugh intimately, she sneaks to the hot springs for a midnight swim. John, drawn by her presence, leaves Rebecca's room to join her, unable to resist temptation. Lexie tells Abe she won't have children until their neighborhood improves, fearing bringing a baby into such a troubled world. Abe urges her to have faith in their efforts to create change.
