Carrie pointedly calls him “Roman,” showing her distance. Outside, Sami urges Austin to keep fighting, and later he serenades Carrie beneath her window. At the hospital, Bo and Carly grow closer, and Jennifer notices. Confiding in Carly, she admits her marriage lacks passion. Carly encourages her to take initiative, but Jack is too absorbed in Spectator troubles to respond, leaving Jennifer hurt and alone. Billie receives frightening threats until Bo intervenes, revealing Cash was lurking nearby. He insists on moving in to protect her. At the pub, Sami subtly encourages John’s connection with Rebecca while downplaying her parents’ marriage. Abe confronts Jonah for misusing his credit card.
