Austin plans to propose to Carrie with a pawn‑shop ring, hoping marriage will prove his love despite her scarring. Roman arrests Tim, who agrees to incriminate Austin, forcing Roman to tell Carrie Austin will be jailed. Carrie begs him to reconsider. Bo proposes to Carly and they begin planning their wedding. Fearing Carly’s growing bond with Nikki, Vivian plots her murder with Ivan, deciding to stage an “accident.” Ivan sabotages Carly’s brakes in the hospital garage. Billie gives a deposition against Cash, but he’s freed when doctors say removing Abe’s bullet fragments is too risky. At Lawrence’s birthday party, Nikki slowly warms to Carly after time with Shawn Douglas. Realizing she’s losing ground, Vivian accelerates her deadly plan. Unaware of the danger, Carly prepares to drive home in the sabotaged car.
