At the Penthouse Grill, Roman finds John and Marlena alone and tensions flare over their lies about Austin. Marlena admits she treated Kate years ago, a secret Kate wants buried. Roman is called away before anything is resolved. At the Alamain mansion, Nicholas is furious when Lawrence reveals Carly is his mother, rejecting her but accepting Lawrence. Vivian comforts him as Carly is left heartbroken. Austin stays by Carrie’s hospital bedside, guilt‑ridden and worried about her medical bills. Bo visits Carrie, then plans a romantic evening for Carly on his boat. Carly breaks down on the pier over Nicholas’s rejection; Bo reassures her that Nicky will come around and that he loves her. Meanwhile, Lawrence manipulates Taylor into helping him sabotage Bo and Carly. John and Victor observe the emotional fallout, with Victor hinting Roman’s real issue is John’s closeness to Marlena, not Austin.
