Lawrence finally tells Nikki he’s his father, thrilling him — but when Carly is revealed as his mother, Vivian’s manipulation turns Nikki against her. A newspaper photo labeling John, Marlena, and Carrie as a family enrages Roman. John pressures Marlena to leave Roman, insisting she loves him. Marlena begs him to hide when Roman comes home; after John slips out, Roman demands she distance John from their family. She reluctantly agrees. Sami writes in her diary about Marlena’s betrayal, planning to tell Roman once Carrie recovers. Kate Roberts, newly at Titan, learns Marlena sits on Bella’s editorial board and grows uneasy. Victor invites John to dinner at the Penthouse Grill. Roman and Marlena accept Kate’s dinner invitation, leaving Sami home alone, quietly devastated by her mother’s infidelity.
