When Bo arrives, the evidence is gone, leaving him furious and empty‑handed. John and Marlena end up alone while helping Carrie with Austin’s trouble with Gus. John admits he can’t forget their affair—he sees and feels her everywhere. Marlena insists she’s committed to Roman and will fight her feelings. John argues their connection is inevitable. She leaves in tears, determined to stay loyal. Austin assures Carrie he’s handling Gus, though Gus still wants him in a Vegas fight. Roman warns Austin away from Carrie. The couple plans a mountain escape once his cast is off. Carly, torn between protecting Nikki and loving Bo, destroys the evidence. She and Bo cross paths at the hospital, both uneasy and conflicted.
