In Salem, Abe is critically wounded in surgery after being shot at the pier. Roman, guilt‑ridden that Abe took his place, vows to find the shooter. Lexie fears he may not survive. At Chez Vous, both John and Marlena are stood up. Their dinner turns emotional as old feelings resurface. When Roman calls about Abe, John goes with Marlena to the hospital. Carly confronts Bo about his suspicions of Lawrence. They kiss, but Bo demands the truth. Abe’s shooting interrupts them. At the hospital, Billie receives a threatening call from Cash, hinting she’s tied to the violence.
