At Wings, Bo wrestles with his feelings for Carly while on a date with Taylor. Carly, still wearing Bo’s ring, insists she’s only there with Lawrence to discuss Nikki. Bo demands honesty about her secrets with Lawrence, keeping tension high. On the pier, John confronts Marlena about their connection and admits he still loves her. Marlena breaks down, confessing she loves him too, but pulls away, refusing to betray Roman. She removes John’s bracelet, insisting she knows where she belongs. Roman later watches the interview revealing John and Marlena’s feelings. Marlena is relieved he’s only angry at Jennifer and Phillip. She reassures him of her love and leads him upstairs.
