Roman makes a New Year’s resolution never to doubt her again. Later, Marlena visits John to discuss Carrie and Billie. Their simmering attraction resurfaces, and she hides the visit from Roman. As they leave for dinner, Roman casually asks where she went earlier, creating a tense, telling moment.
