Bo returns to Salem with Nikki and is reinstated to the police force. At the Bradys’ Christmas party, tension flickers as John and Marlena share a tender moment about Brady’s first Christmas, which Roman interrupts; later, Roman and Marlena reconcile upstairs. At the Alamain mansion, Vivian poisons Nikki against Carly, claiming she’s destroying their family. Carly confronts her, but Bo has already left. She follows him to the Bradys’, where Bo gently says things aren’t simple—Carly kept Nikki from him. Hurt but grateful, Carly thanks him for bringing her son home. Carrie plans a cabin trip with Austin, hoping to stop him from fighting. Billie pushes them to leave Salem after the match, but Carrie insists she’ll prevent it. Vivian tells Lawrence she and Nikki belong together in Salem. Meanwhile, Bo finds a file on Lisanne’s death aboard his boat and begins reading it, conflicted as he holds Carly’s photograph.
