Meanwhile, Philip receives a lucrative Hollywood screenplay opportunity from a friend but initially hesitates. At home, Kim tearfully reflects on missing family during the holidays. Philip surprises her by bringing Andrew and Jeannie home for Christmas. On the river, Bo and Shawn-D encounter friends who mention earning money transporting a woman and boy, possibly Vivian and Nikki. Bo decides to investigate, keeping the lead secret from Shawn-D while planning his next move.
