Lawrence and Carly make a televised plea for information on missing Vivian and Nikki, prompting Vivian—hiding in a lighthouse—to blame Carly and vow Carly will never reclaim her son. Marlena agrees to help Kim therapeutically. At home, she and Roman discuss rebuilding their relationship; he suggests returning John’s medal, but she keeps it, later making love with Roman while dreaming of John’s gentleness during her rescue. Jack struggles with his “Miranda Miller” ruse when agent Suzanna Cooper refuses to negotiate without meeting the author, leaving him scrambling for a solution.
