Vivian kidnaps Nicholas and flees Salem with him, double-crossing Victor in the process. At the airport, Larry and Carly discover Vivian and Nicholas are gone. Nicholas is upset about leaving Salem, especially before Christmas, while Vivian remains evasive about her plans. Bo struggles with the revelation that Carly kept Nicholas's kidnapping secret from him. He drinks heavily at Casey's bar and throws away the ring Carly gave him. John tries to convince Bo to see things from Carly's perspective, but Bo remains angry and hurt. Carly regrets not telling Bo the truth and desperately wants to reconcile with him, but he's unavailable. At the police station, Roman tells them there's nothing more to do but wait for leads. Meanwhile, Vivian and Nicholas prepare to escape by boat, with Ivan confirming he delivered Victor's note. As Carly tries calling Bo, he's out searching for the ring he discarded, both literally and figuratively lost in his anger and pain over her deception.
