Bo questions Ivan, who claims Lisanne fled town and drove off a cliff—an alibi secretly engineered by Lawrence and Vivian to protect Nikki, who caused her death. Lawrence buys a music box and takes Carly and Nikki ice skating, trying to win Carly back. Roman and Carrie grow worried when John doesn’t return; they learn his car was used in a robbery and find an answering machine with Roman’s voice, purchased locally, covered in Stella’s fingerprints. Vivian plans to flee Salem with Nikki, while Austin persuades a loan shark to delay payment until after his fight.
