Jack finishes his novel, shares it with Jo, and they choose the pen name Miranda Miller before mailing it. Hearing Phillip needs work, Jack arranges for him to meet Jennifer about producing her show. Roman grows increasingly alarmed by Marlena’s silence and learns Paul Whitman is abroad. In the pit, Marlena relives painful memories and fears Roman won’t believe she didn’t know the truth about the impostor. Jack tells Julie their finances are improving and suggests redecorating. Victor visits John, who’s preoccupied with Marlena’s disappearance and considers returning to police work. The warehouse is scheduled for demolition Friday, leaving Marlena’s time nearly gone.
