She shares her spiritual beliefs about the soul's immortality and fulfills her wish to watch the sunrise at the beach with John. Carly reveals to Lawrence that their lost child was his, explaining her fear and Vivian's involvement in keeping the secret. Lawrence, unable to forgive her deception despite his own past lies, refuses her apology. Bo learns Carly told Lawrence against his advice and feels betrayed, initially refusing comfort. However, after Shawn reminds him that love conquers all, Bo returns to Carly and they reconcile. Vivian proposes marriage to Victor as a business partnership, but he refuses to commit. When Vivian returns home, Lawrence confronts her about keeping Carly's secret, then visits hospitalized Nicholas to comfort him.
