Carrie and Jesse realize they can’t cover their bills, and Mandy cuts their hours. Jesse secretly gambles their grocery money. Austin finds Carrie upset and takes her to lunch. Roman worries when Marlena visits Roger during detox. Roger nearly quits but stays after Marlena urges him to fight for his recovery. Stella, newly laid off, asks Roman to declare Roger a hardship case; instead, he offers her a secretarial job. Roman remains uneasy about Marlena’s involvement. Abe pressures him about Bo’s future. John tells Victor he’s offered Isabella a board seat. Isabella overhears and first declines, wanting to focus on motherhood, then accepts so she can spend more time with John. She continues to experience troubling symptoms. Austin introduces Carrie to Bridget, stirring Carrie’s jealousy.
