John and Isabella clash over his decision to fight the Alamains for his inheritance. Isabella fears he's becoming like them, but John insists he needs the money for good reasons. He storms off to sign Alamain papers and demands multiple companies from Vivian, including hers, everything listed in the will. The couple hacks into Paris Hall of Records and discovers two certificates: a birth record from October and a death certificate dated January 10th, listing pneumonia as the cause. Jennifer believes Jack is having an affair with Ginger after finding a mysterious letter. Alice and Jo don't believe the rumor and scheme to reunite the couple at Jack's apartment. When confronted, Jennifer discovers the letter was addressed to "Baby" and assumes Jack wrote it to explain his infidelity. As she leaves, Jack desperately reveals the truth: he wrote to their unborn baby because he's dying.
