Jennifer suspects Jack is involved with Ginger after seeing them kiss at Alice’s. Jack insists he’s only helping Ginger get a job, but Jennifer doesn’t believe him. When he brings home a dress for Ginger, she’s crushed. Searching his briefcase, she finds a letter addressed to “Baby” and assumes it’s a goodbye note, convinced he’s leaving her. Lisanne manipulates Shane by crying about losing Mickey’s job offer due to her father’s medical bills; Shane promises to intervene. In therapy, Roger and Jesse claim progress, but Jesse storms out, proving otherwise. Roman worries when Carrie stays out until 3 a.m. with Jesse; she blames car trouble. Marlena urges patience. Roman later apologizes and surprises Marlena with plans for a romantic weekend at the inn where they first made love.
