Kayla visits Steve’s grave to say goodbye before moving to Los Angeles. At her Brady family farewell party, she gives gifts and shares emotional moments. Shane kisses her and wishes her happiness, though he’s clearly hurting. Later, Kayla reflects alone on memories with Steve. John encounters Lawrence, who confesses lifelong guilt over Forrest’s childhood drowning and gives John their father’s silver christening cup. John surprisingly allows him to attend baby Brady’s christening. At St. Luke’s, Victor warns John not to deny Brady his birthright and offers help against the Alamains; John agrees. Bo and Carly confront Vivian about the baby’s birth certificate to track down Carly’s missing son, but Vivian claims she never obtained a death certificate and insists Carly’s presence is too painful for her.
