John and Isabella’s wedding day arrives under strain. Lawrence visits John with veiled threats about their supposed brotherhood, unsettling him. Isabella has steady contractions but insists on marrying. She arrives late after going home when John missed rehearsal, wearing her mother’s pearls and items borrowed from Carly and Marlena. Walking down the aisle with Shawn, she suffers a strong contraction but continues. Victor’s presence causes tension, but Isabella allows him to stay. Carrie reconciles with John and wishes him happiness. As the ceremony begins, Isabella—very pregnant and still contracting—moves determinedly down the aisle, committed to marrying John despite the turmoil. Shane refuses to attend, insisting things have changed, leaving Kayla heartbroken. Jack behaves erratically, making odd comments about Jennifer’s appearance and abruptly leaving the ceremony for “work,” worrying her.
