Jack, convinced he’s dying, makes funeral plans and visits Steve’s grave, confessing his fear of leaving Jennifer and their baby. Seeing Jennifer interview lawyer Rob Stemkowski, Jack’s jealousy erupts; he admits he missed her and couldn’t bear another man looking at her. Jennifer is moved and they kiss. Shane struggles with paralysis and doubts Kayla’s devotion. Maggie reassures him, and Kayla insists she won’t give him up. The episode ends with a mysterious visitor, Buddy Rose, arriving at John and Isabella’s door claiming to know Forrest Alamain—John’s possible true identity.
