Lisanne catches Bo and Carly breaking into her office for Carly’s missing records. She offers to drop the case if Carly admits negligence, but Carly refuses. Jack, believing he’s terminal, slips back into sensationalism until Harper’s ghost forces him to confront his selfishness. He rewrites his story honestly but poorly, still hiding his diagnosis from Jennifer and confiding only in Jo. Jennifer interviews Raffi Torres; Molly confronts him, and Tanner angrily removes her. A suspicious professor later comforts Molly with unsettling attention. Lisanne brings Vern an offer to buy the Spectator; Jennifer refuses. Jack overhears her saying the sale “will kill him” and thinks she means his illness. Tom and Alice enjoy an evening out while Jack and Jo dine at Wings, where Alice urges him to see a doctor. Carly receives a cut‑off call from Dr. Goddard, and Bo comforts her as they discuss her past.
