Jack returns to Alice's Restaurant to find his marriage in crisis—Jennifer has left town with her trust fund nearly depleted after being swindled. Desperate to understand what happened, Jack learns from Ginger that Hawk may be working with Desiree in the scheme. When Hawk arrives, Jack surprisingly proposes a truce and they shake hands to let bygones be bygones. However, later at his penthouse, Jack discovers incriminating evidence on his honeymoon videotape: Hawk is clearly visible, proving he was involved in the setup from the beginning. Meanwhile, John and Marlena have a therapy session as their romantic and professional lives continue to intertwine.
