Hawk and Desiree plot to use a fake personal ad to lure Jack out. Jennifer shops with Maggie and admits she still thinks about Jack. Molly shows Julie a vintage dress she plans to fix and wonders why Tanner seems distant after their ballet date. Brian finds Tanner emotional over a Christmas display; Tanner denies anything is wrong. Desiree becomes a Salvation Army bell ringer at Hawk’s request. Jack hides in the ladies’ room at Wings when Julie and Molly arrive, slipping out before Tanner opens the door. Tanner reassures Molly he isn’t avoiding her. Ginger debates telling Molly she’s her mother. Jack buys a suit to feel like himself again and narrowly misses running into Jennifer. Hawk pushes Jennifer to move on. Jennifer asks Alice if she can stay with her grandparents for the holidays. Jack tries to approach Jennifer but is mistaken for a criminal when he picks up a dropped toy gun, forcing him to flee.
