Shane, Kim, and John (Roman #2) hunt for Kayla; John feels like an outsider at the station. Jennifer helps them broadcast a TV plea for Kayla’s release. Cal watches but avoids calling, then sends a ransom note demanding Kim in exchange. In Miami, Lawrence negotiates with Gretchen over her medallion. Victor worries Bo is closing in and summons his electrician back to Salem. At Roman’s house, Tarrington arrives to discuss the double‑Roman crisis, announcing the ISA will run DNA tests.
