Jack tries to reunite with Jennifer on his last day before vacation, but Madeline pushes Jennifer to audition at the TV station. Jack watches her succeed and, guided by Harper and Duke’s “Wonderful Life Without Jack” visions, becomes convinced she’s better off without him. He decides to clear things with the FBI first. Jennifer privately tells Howie she’ll never love anyone like Jack. Shane and Kim realize Kayla never left Salem. Finding her keys and missing furniture, they trace everything to Cal. Cal has abducted Kayla, dressed her in outfits he bought, and staged a “fashion show.” When Kim appears in a sequined gown, Cal mistakes her for Kayla until Kayla’s reaction exposes the truth, sending his plan spiraling.
