After Carly's surgery, Bo stays by her bedside while Marcus updates him on her condition. Meanwhile, Roman tries convincing Marlena he's the real Roman and that "Rojohn" is an impostor they staged, but Marlena remains skeptical ”especially when Roman mentions her years locked in the hospital. Rojohn awakens confused with soldier flashbacks and violent impulses. Victor discusses Carly with Isabella, prompting Bo to threaten him away from her. As Carly regains consciousness, Bo reassures her about the surgery. Abe and Brian investigate Carly's accident as a potential crime. Kim and Kayla clash over Kim moving out of Shane's house. Isabella declares to Marcus she'll have her baby regardless of Rojohn's involvement. Tension escalates when Rojohn, acting increasingly unstable from his gunshot wound and fragmented memories, bursts in on Roman and Marlena ”gun drawn ”while Marlena defends him against Roman's accusations.
