Victor cuts the Salem Inn elevator cable to trap Bo. Bo sets up a romantic night for Carly, but she arrives early, declares her love, and the elevator crashes. On the island monastery, Roman II and Marlena find only a hidden staircase. The real Roman slips a warning note about the imposter, but it’s missed. Roman II has a sudden memory of getting a Phoenix tattoo in jail and wants to return home. In Salem, Lawrence visits Victor and flirts with Carly. Abe reconnects with Bo and says he’s watching Victor for Roman. The episode ends with Isabella calling an abortion clinic.
