Roman II and Marlena prepare for their island mission, their growing attraction erupting into beach kisses Isabella witnesses, crushing her hopes. On the island, Roman I forces Gretchen to reveal the helicopter’s location during a storm. In Salem, Lawrence is granted parole despite Kim’s testimony, denying harassment. Shane suspects Cal may be the real threat. Shawn and Caroline visit Shane, and Kayla’s casual intimacy with him irritates Shawn. Cal, secretly free, rents an apartment under an alias, fills it with toys and a timebomb, and talks to a stuffed bear as if it’s Jeannie, preparing to “save” her from the “monster man.”
