Meanwhile, the real Roman I escapes his cell by overpowering guards and taking Gretchen hostage. He obtains a map and cuts the island's phone lines, forcing Gretchen to help him escape. Gretchen's threat to kill Marlena via Roman II looms as their plans converge. Subplots include Molly's budding romance with Tanner and Brian's growing relationship with Ginger. Victor holds a mysterious coin matching one Marlena possesses, hinting at deeper connections to the unfolding conspiracy.
