Meanwhile, trouble brews in a criminal scheme: Molly attempts to rescue a dog from Ginger's trailer, leading to a confrontation. Ginger then places a mysterious newspaper ad seeking a girl born November 14th, arranging a pier meeting. When Howie discovers this ad, the con artists realize their plans are threatened and decide to accelerate their timeline. In subplot developments, Marcus grows suspicious of Desiree after discovering her grandmother is missing, and Howard warns Hawk against developing feelings for Jennifer.
