Jennifer and Frankie nearly make love on her 18th birthday but decide to wait. Bill arrives with a gift and finds Frankie in her dorm, disappointed in her choices. Steve learns Ed Daniels has ordered him to kill Shane. Shane buys time by publicly discrediting himself with a fake affair involving ISA secrets. Kayla accepts Jack’s proposal and announces it to her family. Later, Steve sees her ring on the pier and gives her a fortune cookie reading “At last, you’ve found your true love,” a bittersweet reminder of their unresolved feelings. Jonah takes Carrie boating, and they capsize. Diana dives in and rescues her; Roman performs CPR and revives Carrie. Grateful and shaken, Roman thanks Diana, and a new connection begins forming between them.
