Diana settles into her new apartment, but tensions arise when Phillip buys her a lakeside house which she refuses concerned about Victor's involvement. Phillip enlists Roman to convince Diana to move, though she resents the interference. Diana encounters someone mysterious in her darkened apartment. Kayla receives flowers and a marriage proposal from Jack, leaving her torn. While Harper and Anjelica scheme to push her toward accepting, Kayla confides in Melissa that she can't marry Jack while still heartbroken over Steve. She decides to stop grieving Steve and angrily destroys his photo. Calliope becomes jealous when Trevor brings glamorous flight attendant Veronica on a date. She sabotages their evening by lying to Veronica that Trevor is married with six children. Though Trevor dismisses Veronica afterward, Calliope realizes her interference hurt Ethan, and she later apologizes to him in the park.
