Steve secretly contacts an orphanage, worrying Kayla, who senses he’s hiding something. At the bus station, a creepy man harasses Adrienne; Justin steps in, and her panic leads her to confess her father raped her and she killed him. Justin’s compassion helps her begin to trust him. Diana and Mike discover the James Dickson in Washington is an impostor; the real James is a fruit drink salesman with no medical background. They also find a letter where James admits he loved Diana despite deceiving her, confirming Hopkins is lying. Steve plans to separate from the group while evading the FBI. He promises to meet them at the bus station but clearly intends to disappear. Despite Kayla’s pleas, he asks Justin to get both women on the bus. Steve doesn’t arrive in time, and the bus leaves without him, devastating Kayla and Adrienne. Meanwhile, Alex charms Anjelica with expensive champagne after Jack cancels their dinner due to feeling unwell.
