Jennifer learns she won't graduate. Steve and Kayla survive a plane crash and find shelter in a honeymoon cabin, where they grow closer Steve confesses she's saved his life three times, including the day they met. They fall asleep together on a heart-shaped bed. Adrienne decides to travel to Colorado to search for Steve after hearing about the crash. Justin insists on accompanying her, offering financial support and transport despite Victor's disapproval. Anjelica opposes Justin's involvement with the Johnsons, threatening him and insulting Adrienne, but Justin stands firm in his decision to help. Victor secretly arranges for someone to tail Adrienne, believing Steve will emerge from hiding for her. Melissa gently suggests Justin is motivated by his guilt over hurting Adrienne, which Justin acknowledges. Jo supports Justin's plan, relieved he'll protect Adrienne during the search.
