Andrew’s christening and first birthday bring family together, while Justin finds Adrienne’s discarded poem, turns it into a song, and surprises her with a romantic performance at Blondie’s — a moment that deepens their bond. Victor disrupts the celebration by arriving with police and a court order, accusing Kim of being an unfit mother and demanding custody of Andrew. Shane is pulled into an emergency hearing as tensions escalate. Meanwhile, Steve meets an FBI agent to carry out a staged “assassination” of Senator Harper using paint‑capsule bullets. Unbeknownst to him, the agent switches the gun. When Steve shoots Harper on the pier, a real gunman appears and tries to kill him, forcing Steve to dive into the river. The setup makes it clear Steve has been framed.
